Kody Cook, Head of Avionics and Head of Satellites, Gilmour Space Technologies
Kody Cook is the Head of Avionics and Head of Satellites for Gilmour Space Technologies, an Australian launch services provider that's due to launch the country's first sovereign-made orbital launch vehicle from the Bowen Orbital Spaceport in Queensland. A multi-disciplinary engineer, Kody has over a decade of experience in developing, operating and managing various space and aerospace programs. He has worked at the Australian Space Agency, as well as in pioneering New Space start-ups and a multinational prime. Kody has a Master degrees in Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Queensland (UQ), and Space Engineering from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
Patrick Twomey, Head of Government and Regions, Australian Retirement Trust
Patrick is Australian Retirement Trust's Head of Government and Regions, responsible for the employer service delivery to Queensland Government and employers across regional and rural Queensland.
Prior to his current role, Patrick has held several roles with Australian Retirement Trust and Sunsuper, focused on building and retaining Queensland employer client base through exceptional service.
With more than 16 years' experience in the superannuation and financial services industry, Patrick has led teams responsible for business development, client relationship management, marketing, administration operations, and delivering high-quality products and services to a range of superannuation trustee boards and committees.
Patrick is a Board Director of Golf Queensland, a Committee Member of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA)'s and National Executive Member Advisory Committee.
Patrick has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Queensland and a Diploma in Financial Services for Superannuation and Financial Planning. He is a Fellow of ASFA, qualified by the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA), and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
