President’s Report - August 2024
Reflecting on the past month, the Gold Coast North Chamber of Commerce had a strong showing at our two most recent events.
Our Meet and Greet at Cav’s Steakhouse on August 15 was a fantastic evening filled with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and the perfect setting to connect with like-minded professionals.
It was a pleasure to hear from Paul Brown of Paradise Fitness Clubs, who delivered an engaging presentation. With 35 years of experience as a leader in the health and fitness industry, Paul shared his journey, offering valuable insights on customer retention strategies to support growing businesses.
On 29 August, we marked our biggest event to date. Our exclusive luncheon at Southport Sharks featured an insightful economic update from BDO’s Anders Magnusson, followed by a dynamic Q&A session with Queensland Opposition Leader David Crisafulli, moderated by Hot Tomato’s Emily Jade O’Keeffe.
It was a full house and an unforgettable day for our members and guests. With local dignitaries, influential business leaders, and members of parliament in attendance, this event created the perfect opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and share in our vision for growth within the community.
