Welcome to the Gold Coast North Chamber of Commerce. I'm Josephine Kadel, your newly appointed President, and I'm honoured to lead our vibrant community towards progress and prosperity.

As the peak representative body for businesses covering North Gold Coast areas, the Gold Coast North Chamber of Commerce plays a pivotal role in fostering a strong business environment. We are confident that the community will prosper and develop by supporting and promoting local businesses.

My journey began at the Queensland state government, where I held roles focused on shaping policy and legislation in key sectors such as mining and energy. Subsequently, I transitioned to the Council of the City of Gold Coast, where I held senior positions specialising in economic regulation and managed the city's entire waste collection services. These roles allowed me to oversee critical aspects of the city's operations and make impactful decisions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Most recently, I worked at the Queensland Treasury Corporation, gaining valuable insights into financial management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement across various sectors.

As President of the Chamber of Commerce, my commitment is to champion the interests of local businesses and foster an environment where they can thrive. I believe in the power of collaboration and intend to leverage my experience and network to create opportunities, promote innovation, and drive economic growth for our community.

Beyond my professional commitments, I'm deeply passionate about empowering women and making a difference in our community. As the owner and founder of LIFE IS A PARTY, I have dedicated myself to supporting local businesses and charitable causes.
